    A Guitar

What To Expect

If you want to learn how to finally play the guitar and perform for an audience but don't know where to start you are absolutely in the right place. This one-hour live workshop is specially curated to make you fall in love with the instrument and the art of connecting with your audience. We believe that the best way to memorize new chords is to apply them directly to songs, keep playing, and using them in your favourite songs. Pankaj, our soulful guitarist and poet will walk you through the four major chords, basic guitar theory, and by the end of the session, you could easily play one of your favourite Bollywood songs! So dust off your guitar and get ready for your first gig!

Your Guru

I have been on the stage for various reasons, since I was 9 years old, doing whatever I could do to entertain myself and the audience. Sharing that happiness with others and having fun as a group, made it much more real and free than how it used to feel doing it all alone. And so I performed whenever I got the opportunity to be on the stage. I used to sing songs, act in school plays, do mimicry, take part in speech competitions, conduct morning assemblies and even dance sometimes. In 2011, at 19, I finally bought a guitar which I always wanted to do. In 2014, I started writing. Wrote a lot of poems and a few songs by the end of 2015. In 2016, I decided to pursue music and poetry as a full time career. Started performing again in front of an audience in 2017. At first, it was mostly open mics. I just wanted to go out there to perform in front of people, have fun as a group and get some feedback for my work as well

And then in 2019, I got connected with a few start-ups and started performing at various private events in Delhi Ncr and in different hostels and farm houses across Himachal, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan and Punjab and I loved every bit of it. And this has been my life for some time now. As I'm moving forward on this path that I chose, I'm getting more and more passionate about life. I'm becoming more confident about my own potential to achieve a vision so big that it transcends the boundaries of my imagination. But most importantly I am here, living in the now. Content and at peace with my existence. I have succeeded in doing the most difficult things of life. The rest will sort itself out.
