The course Nature Journaling with professional artist Sanjana Singh introduces you to the idea of keeping an artist’s journal/sketchbook, and how it helps in building your visual vocabulary. You’ll focus on learning how to observe and draw from nature, understand the basic forms and shapes found in nature and how to translate them into an artwork through drawing, sketching, painting, etc. The subject matter could range from flowers, leaves, berries, fruits, trees, etc. You can even find images of nature from books or the internet to take inspiration from. There is so much abundance of beautiful things in the natural world that you can never run out of ideas!

Your Guru

Sanjana Singh has been practicing illustration and painting for the past 7 years. She specializes in Botanical Illustrations. From customizing paintings for Oberoi Hotels to working on her designer collection for Mysore sarees, her artwork is vividly inspired by nature, and the same is reflected in all her projects.

3. Black ball pen/Micron Pen (Size 1,2,5)
4. Pencil
5. Pencil Colours
6. An object from nature. Can also be a photograph.
